Postpartum Anxiety & Depression

The transition to parenthood can bring profound emotional, physical, and relationship changes. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, sadness, or simply feeling unlike yourself, therapy offers compassionate support as you navigate postpartum life.

You thought you'd feel differently by now. You may have imagined feeling happier, more connected, or more confident. Instead, you may feel anxious, overwhelmed, sad, or unlike yourself. It can be difficult to say that out loud, especially when you feel pressure to be enjoying this time.

Your experience may also be shaped by infertility, pregnancy loss, or a difficult birth. Whatever you’re feeling, you don’t have to minimize it or wait until things feel unmanageable to seek support. Amid the demands of caring for a baby, your emotional needs matter too.

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy can provide support with:

  • Postpartum anxiety and depression

  • Unwanted intrusive thoughts and persistent worry

  • Emotional effects of a difficult birth

  • Anxiety following infertility or pregnancy loss

  • Adjustment to parenthood and changes in identity

  • Relationship stress and changes in family dynamics

  • Perfectionism, guilt, and pressure to “get it right”

  • Emotional overwhelm and difficulty coping

My Approach

I’m Danielle Rosenblatt, a licensed psychotherapist specializing in reproductive mental health and a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C). I provide a compassionate space to process your experience without judgment, comparison, or pressure to move forward before you are ready.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including EMDR when appropriate, while honoring your individual experience, readiness, and goals.

You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone

Your experience is uniquely yours. Therapy offers a place where your story can be heard, your feelings can be acknowledged, and you can find support for what you’re facing.
